With summer almost here, we're excited to welcome back the birds! Join us to find out which birds are around based on sight and sound. Learn about different types of birds and create a sustainable craft that will attract birds to your home. This is a free drop-in program with at-your-own-pace activities and complimentary snacks, provided by the Minnesota Valley Refuge Friends. For all ages! Activity Level: Easy-active, self-led
Meet us: Meet inside the Bloomington Education and Visitor Center.
What to Bring: Clothing and shoes you can comfortably move around in. This program has indoor and outdoor portions, please bring outerwear appropriate for the weather.
Accessibility: Restrooms and water fountains are available inside the visitor center. Ramps are available to access all areas of the visitor center. The beginning of the path is aggregate paved and transitions into a cement paved path. Optional trail: dirt path. Some portions are steep and have uneven tread. Includes stairs.
Accommodation: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is committed to providing access to these events for all participants.
