About this Event
A Cross-Border Artistic Dialogue
Sherry Grant from New Zealand and Lily Kostrzewa from New York, both alumnae of National Taiwan Normal University, bridge generations and geographies to explore the tension between the bustling human experience and the eternal stillness of nature.
- Music & Poetry: Sherry Grant will perform a curated program featuring the World Premiere of Meditation by Moshe Knoll, alongside works by Tyzen Hsiao, Alexander Scriabin, and Valentin Silvestrov.
- Visual Art: Lily Kostrzewa’s latest series utilizes the primary palette of German Expressionism fused with traditional East Asian ink techniques. Her signature "abstract sheep" motifs serve as a poignant symbol for humanity’s search for meaning within the vastness of the natural world.
