In this seasonal series of fern study, join Maine Master Naturalist and Interpretive Guide Anna DiChiara online, in-person or both!What is a fern? Join an online webinar on December 10th (6:00pm-7:00pm) to learn about fern structure, reproduction and how to identify some of the 30 varied types of fern here in Southern Maine. Join in person the following Saturday, December 13th (10:00am-11:30am) for a walk at Highland Farm Preserve to search for evergreen ferns and enjoy seasonal observations. These programs are free and open to the public, but registration is required.
