A quick taster class that’s ideal as a fun outing for friends, or as a treat for you! In three short hours, learn to craft an amazing pair of textured silver, brass and/or copper earrings - from scratch! Over this taster class, you’ll be guided through the process of heating and texturing metal, cutting and shaping with traditional jewellery tools. After completing this class, you will have one pair of beautiful earrings to wear away or gift to someone special!
You will practice on smaller texture samples to work out what texture and what metal you want to go with, and then move on to creating your earrings in metal.
Your class materials pack includes everything you need for the class to make a super cool pair of earrings. Extra silver can be purchased in the class if you wish to go bigger.
We use quality pre-made sterling silver earring wires, or earring posts with silicone stud backs for these taster classes so that you can focus on making the main part of the earrings and know that your findings will be just perfect.
The outcome for this taster class is to have one pair of completed earrings to wear away or gift to someone special.
Kids aged 12 (or so) are welcome to attend the class, but any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an enrolled parent or caregiver.
Workshop fee is $128, Early Bird $115 - ends 9 November.
