Spend a restorative day by the coast exploring the art of natural inks and handmade books.We’ll begin by creating botanical inks and painting on fine papers using organic pigments and expressive mark-making techniques. Once your pages are complete, you’ll transform them into folded book forms nestled inside beautiful handmade covers.
Each participant will leave with a finished handmade book, plus a small packet of inks and papers — along with instructions so you can continue your practice at home.
This intimate workshop takes place at Kate’s House in Inverness, offering a peaceful setting for a creative, communal day. All materials and snacks are provided. Please bring a lunch to share as we gather around the table and enjoy an afternoon of making together.
