Learn how to forage and extract color from native plants to make sustainable, eco-friendly ink for painting and writing! This hands-on workshop is an introduction to the basics of ink making from plant materials that are found in our neighborhoods and nearby forests. We will get to know and work with the alder tree, which grows along the shores of Lake Tuusula. Each participant will make their own creative piece and take home a small bottle of handmade ink.
We meet as a small group in the cozy Ruotsin Maja at the Lotta Museum for an immersive and experimental creative experience. This workshop is intended for adults or youths who attend with an adult.
This is an invitation to learn from our local ecosystems and express our creativity through our interconnection with Mother Nature: welcome curious minds and open hearts!
✨Early bird pricing until May 24✨
