Come join us for a walking tour of the Hook Lake area! Explore and learn about the ecology and geologic features of this Town of Dunn treasure. This two-hour, approximately 1.5-mile walk will feature short talks by:-- Eric Carson: Geologist, Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey
-- Cal DeWitt: Professor Emeritus, Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies
-- David Sample: Retired Grassland Bird Specialist, Wisconsin DNR
-- Julie Widholm: Wildlife Biologist and Hook Lake Manager, Wisconsin DNR
-- Brandon Mann: Easement Stewardship Manager, Groundswell Conservancy
Where: Start and finish at Steve Greb and Julie Andersen’s home (1714 Labrador Road)
