Discover the beauty of natural color in this hands-on Natural Dye Tea Towel Workshop. In this class, you’ll explore the art of botanical dyeing using plants, flowers, and kitchen scraps to create one-of-a-kind textiles. Guided step by step, you’ll learn how to prepare fabric, extract color from natural materials, and use simple techniques to transfer those pigments onto cotton tea towels.Experiment with layering leaves, petals, and organic textures to design your own unique patterns, embracing the unpredictability and charm of natural dyes. Along the way, we’ll cover the basics of sustainable dye practices and how to recreate these methods at home.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with beautifully dyed tea towels ( two towels each) and the skills and confidence to continue exploring natural dyeing on your own. No prior experience needed.
