For parents hoping to achieve an un-medicated birth, attend this class instead of Prepared Childbirth. Discusses techniques for managing pain (breathing, relaxation, positioning) and what to expect in Labor and Delivery. Support Person encouraged to attend. Class ends with a tour of our Labor & Delivery and Women & Newborn units. You do not need to register for the separate tour.
Videos of vaginal birth and breastfeeding will be shown.
We recommend attend this or Prepared Childbirth, but not both. Our class sizes do not allow you to attend both classes.

Plan to attend during the last trimester of your pregnancy, but call around 20-25 weeks to register for the best availability. Registration ends 3 days before class or when full.
