Join us celebrating spring with an immersive workshop where you will be able to explore and connect to nature through art.
25th April 11-12 / 12.30-1.30 / 2-3
This workshop is suitable for all ages with different creative stations designed to encourage curiosity, experimentation and connection with the natural world. Using leaves, plants, charcoal, sticks and other found materials, you will have the opportunity to discover different ways of mark making, colours and prints.
Leaf Printing - experiment with a variety of leaves printing different shapes, textures and sizes creating beautiful prints and patterns.
Plant Ink Making - get the chance to explore how natural materials can be transformed into colour by crushing, mixing and creating simple plant-based ink.
Natural dye painting - using dyes made from natural sources you will be invited to paint freely and investigate how earthy tones and organic colours can be used in artwork.
Charcoal and Stick Drawing - explore textures, lines and mark making with simple natural materials.
Open to all ages, families welcome!
We are looking forward to see you for a relaxed, playful session where everyone can explore our natural surroundings. Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting paint on.
