Learn to create biodiversity in your yard with a native "yardening" workshop. Participants will learn how to plan and renovate their property to support birds, fireflies, butterflies and other important creatures in our ADK ecosystem.
Topics will include keystone plants for ADK gardens, local plant sources, low-impact maintenance techniques and creative lawn alternatives.
Wild Ones Southern ADK Chapter will be providing native plants to participants, and ADK Action's Pollinator Project will giveaway native seeds!
Class Fee: $25 per person, fee must be paid in advance.
Max Class Size: 12 (minimum age 13 years old)
