Our free native seed library allows us to share native seeds with the public at no cost. It is part of our educational mission to teach people about the plants found at Owen Conservation Park and other urban natural areas and to teach and encourage you to add them to your own property on a smaller scale. At this work day we will package the seeds we have collected and received from Dane County Parks into envelopes that will be used to stock the seed library and for related educational purposes. The work is easy and rewarding. No previous experience or skill is needed. Instructions and all necessary tools will be provided. This will be a fun, social, indoor event with refreshments provided.
