Join a class focused on learning about this region’s pollinators and the native plants they depend upon, and how each of us as landowners/ stewards can create a vibrant ecosystem for pollinators and people. We will convene at the Pollinator Project Rogue Valley’s office in Phoenix for a tour of their demonstration garden then walk to the Blue Heron Park Children’s Learning Garden to identify native pollinator friendly plants and pollinator habitats. The goal of this interactive class is to get participants thinking about urban and suburban spaces for pollinators and people, as well as their own landscape and neighborhood.Knowledge Level: Beginner
Physical Level: Easy (car travel with short stops, up to 1 mile of hiking per day)
Ages 18+ welcome.
