About this Event
Join us to plant native plants at Dirksen Nature Park in Tigard! This work supports wildlife habitat, water quality, soil health, and human connection throughout the park.
On this day, we'll plant over 1000 cuttings in the Dirksen Nature Park wetland. Water resistant boots are definitely recommended! After the planting, we'll join with SOLVE to help remove trash from the wetland, which will prevent it from entering Fanno Creek and floating downstream to the Tualatin River!
Snacks, coffee, tools, safety gear and instruction provided. This park is accessible via the 76 and 45 Trimet bus lines.
Thank you to our partners from Ash Creek Forest Management, City of Tigard, and Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District, and SOLVE for supporting this project!
