Citizens Committee will again be having a Native Plant Sale on Sunday, May 17 from 10-4 at Miller Nature Preserve 2739 Center Road, Avon. All plants are $15 in trade-gallon pots. All plants are native to our area, provided from a Lorain County grower, and are 2nd season, hardened off. Proceeds directly benefit the Lorain County Metro Parks through the Citizens Committee, a political action committee.
Citizens Committee will be a vendor at the parks' larger event, Spring Green Market. Their event focuses sustainability, through a curated selection of eco-friendly, nature-inspired goods handcrafted by local vendors and demonstrations from regional experts on sustainable practices.
