Class Description: It's the middle of winter, but the perfect time to start dreaming and planning your spring and summer planting projects! Ditch the water-hogging grass and plants and join us for an evening with local expert Kenzie Millar. She will guide you through how to use native and drought tolerant plants in your yard. Bring a photo and sketchup of your yard space and get personal advice on what plants and designs will work best in your projects.
Kenzie's Bio: Kenzie graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture from SDSU in 2010. She has 17 years experience in various fields in the green industry, including McCrory Gardens, Black Hills Landscaping, Landscape Garden Centers, Jolly Lane Greenhouse, and her own landscape business. She currently works for Interstate Engineering (formerly TerraSite Design) as a Landscape Designer for 3 years. She has a passion for horticulture and design and loves to share it with others.
