We are celebrating Earth Day with a Native Plant Butterfly Garden Tour, on Sunday, April 21st 10am - 4pm. 4 homeowners in South Tampa are opening their landscapes for us to enjoy and see how they have incorporated native plants into their gardens to create habitat for butterflies, pollinators, birds, and wildlife. These are not the fancy manicured properties (although some are) with manicured lawns maintained by landscapers. They are living landscapes rich in wildlife and native plants providing habitat that is safe for us, our children, and our pets as they are chemical-free landscapes. This is no-lawn tour! Come meet other wildlife lovers and native plant gardeners, find inspiration, information, and practical resources for growing your own garden habitat. Order your tickets online now. Ticket booklets will be available at each of the homes the morning of the tour and at Little Red Wagon Native Nursery - so you will pick up your tour booklet at the first home you visit. We will send an eblast with the addresses a few days before the tour. All of the homes are within a mile of Little Red Wagon Native Nursery.
We will have a nectar party at the nursery after the tour in the Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation gallery included in the tour price.
