Välkomna till nationskörsfestivalen 2026! Årets mest unika musikprogram inträffar fredagen den 10 april när Uppsalas nations- och studentkörer intar den vackra universitetsaulan för att bjuda in till sång och gemenskap!
Körerna framför varsitt stycke på temat ”Sångresan - en musikalisk färd genom tid och rum” och ni kommer att få höra på musik i massvis med olika genrer från blandkörer, damkörer och manskörer. Dessutom kommer Margareta Raab att leda festivalkören som ramar in konserten med deltagare från samtliga körer.
Margareta Raab är organist i Uppsala domkyrka, konstnärlig ledare för Uppsala domkyrkas flickkör och Uppsala domkyrkas gosskör samt projektkörerna Uppsala domkyrkas ungdomskör och Young Cathedral Voices. Hon är utbildad vid Geijerskolan i Ransäter och Kungliga Musikhögskolan i Stockholm. I 15 år arbetade hon som kyrkomusiker och körledare i Oscarskyrkan i Stockholm.
2011 tilldelades Margareta Raab Uppsala kommuns kulturstipendium. Hösten 2013 var hon konstnärlig ledare för Young Cathedral Voices, en internationell körfest i Uppsala domkyrka med över 400 gästande korister från olika delar av Europa.
Margareta Raab har ett mångårigt engagemang i Svenska kyrkans gosskörsförening, under åren 2015-2023 som ordförande.
Detta kommer att bli en unik kulturföreställning som visar det bästa av Uppsala och den bästa av musik, missa inte detta!

Welcome to the National Choir Festival 2026!
This year’s most unique music program takes place on Friday, April 10, when Uppsala’s national and student choirs take over the beautiful university hall to invite you to song and fellowship!
The choirs will each perform a piece on the theme "The Singing Journey - a Musical Voyage Through Time and Space," and you will hear music in a wide variety of genres from mixed choirs, women’s choirs, and men’s choirs. Additionally, Margareta Raab will conduct the festival choir, which frames the concert with participants from all the choirs.
Margareta Raab is the organist at Uppsala Cathedral, artistic director of Uppsala Cathedral Girls’ Choir and Uppsala Cathedral Boys’ Choir, as well as the project choirs Uppsala Cathedral Youth Choir and Young Cathedral Voices. She was educated at the Geijer School in Ransäter and the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. For 15 years, she worked as a church musician and choir conductor at Oscars Church in Stockholm.
In 2011, Margareta Raab was awarded the Uppsala Municipality Cultural Scholarship. In the autumn of 2013, she was the artistic director for Young Cathedral Voices, an international choir festival at Uppsala Cathedral with over 400 guest choristers from various parts of Europe. Margareta Raab has had a long-standing involvement in the Swedish Church Choir Association, during the years 2015-2023 as chairperson.
