About this Event
See Change Dance and our comunity partners are gathering at the Intracoastal Park in Boynton Beach for National Water Dance 2026! Our event features an afternoon of creative movement and dance celebrating our relationship to the Earth.
We will meet at 3:30 p.m. for an opening ceremony and procession. Promptly at 4 p.m. we will unite with hundreds of dancers at water sites in 32 states for a simultaneous, live-streamed "movement choir" and dance performance that honors the beautiful and life giving planet we call home.
The afternoon will also feature community art, spoken word performances, a ballet about a baby nurse shark, and opportunities to learn about ecology, conservation, climate resilience and steps we can take as individuals and as a community to protect and preserve the waters that sustain us.
Our comunity partners include First Presbyterian Church, Boynton Beach, Audobon Everglades, and Palm Beach County Environmental Resource Management.
