The National Visual Art Education Conference (NVAEC) brings together teachers, artists, cultural practitioners and thought-leaders to inspire and energise best-practice teaching and learning in the visual arts.NVAEC 26 is presented in conjunction with After the Rain, the 5th National Indigenous Art Triennial. Under the Artistic Direction of Tony Albert, Girramay/Yidinji/Kuku-Yalanji peoples, After the Rain presents new immersive projects that resonate with ideas of rebirth and cleansing and celebrate inter-generational legacies and cultural warriors of the past, present and future.
NVAEC 26 includes keynote addresses from Tony Albert, After the Rain artists, and international guests, plus workshops, gallery experiences, performances, social gatherings and Teachers’ Voice presentations.
Join us onsite here in Kamberri/Canberra, or online wherever you are. Online tickets include all keynote speeches, Teachers’ Voice presentations and online workshops. Online ticket holders can attend a satellite event on the final day of the conference for no extra cost. A list of all satellite events will be published in the coming months.
