Peachtree City Gin Branch Trails - Grand Opening!Join us for a public recognition of this community service project on Saturday, June 6th starting at 9am at the trailhead kiosk located next to the Landrum Mill historic overlook.
The Gin Branch Trails are located on over 21 acres of Peachtree City public greenspace with connecting shared-use paths and natural surface trails along the Gin Branch of Flat Creek. Volunteers from several community organizations over the last year have developed and improved over 1 mile of the natural surface trails suitable for hiking, trail running and accessible mountain biking to serve as a Kedron Village outdoor recreation area. The SouthSide Cycling Club and Bike-Walk Fayette sponsored the project which was included in the 2025 Peachtree City Recreation Master Plan.
American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day (NTD), an annual trail awareness program, is an opportunity to celebrate the 200,000+ miles of outdoor trails in our county. Take part in an effort to promote healthy living, protect green space, educate adults and youth on the importance of trails, and excitement for the outdoors.
