National STEM Day Celebration at Global Wildlife Center's Visitor CenterFriday, November 8, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
In a national celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, Global Wildlife Center welcomes the Northshore Brain Food Truck, St. Tammany Parish Mosquito Abatement, and Southeastern's Environmental Research Station, Turtle Cove, to Global Wildlife. Global is also offering other interactive learning opportunities for students in these disciplines at the Visitor Center. There is no admission charge for the Visitor Center.
**Global Wildlife Center’s educational safaris led by a naturalist guide enable children to learn through touch on field trips as they get eye to eye with a giraffe or feel the woolly fur of bison. Teachers can book a safari field trip separately on this day (pending availability) by contacting [email protected]; or filling out a field trip reservation form at globalwildlife.com/field-trips
