National Public Lands Day - Partner Work Day

Join the BLM, the Fruita Trails Initiative & COPMOBA for a day of trail building to celebrate McInnis Canyons' 25th Anniversary as a National Conservation Area! Work will focus on three distinct trail projects: Over The Hill, Rustler's Re-route, and Wrangler (Adaptive). Over The Hill and Wrangler (Adaptive) will engage volunteers to perform "trail finishing" work behind a mini-excavator, while Rustler's re-routes will be new hand-built trail construction. Volunteers will meet at the main Kokopelli Trailhead at the I-70 Loma exit #115. From there volunteers will split into crews and join their crew leaders for a day of trail work.
We will move the event to 10/26/25 in case of weather!
