The National Professional Fishing League (NPFL) will be returning to host a premier professional fishing tournament at Lake Wright Patman from April 19–25, 2026, bringing some of the nation’s top anglers and outdoor enthusiasts to the Texarkana area.The tournament will feature 145 boats, daily launches and recoveries at Wright Patman Lake, with the official weigh-in venue located at Spring Lake Park on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with a winning purse of $100,000. The public is welcome to attend each weigh-in and see their favorite anglers catch.
In addition to world-class competitive fishing, the event will emphasize community engagement. During the anglers scheduled off-day, the host site will coordinate outreach events with local community partners, such as meets and greets, fishing at Spring Lake Park, and school visits. The NPFL will designate participating anglers to represent the host site during these visits, creating meaningful connections and giving back to the Texarkana community.
