National Poetry Month Open Mic Night
April is National Poetry Month! Join performing artist Tarika Holland at the historic Lucy C. Laney Museum as she hosts an open mic night in celebration of all things poetry. Whether you are a poet, spoken word artist, or musician, the mic is waiting for you. If you are a lover of the arts, a seat is waiting for you. This will be a safe space to not only perform, but to have engaging conversations as well as opportunities to become more education about the artform.
