Over the course of the afternoon, join Rangers at a series of stations aimed to provide fun in nature for kids of all ages.
Children’s Discovery Area: Have some fun outside in our Certified Nature Explorer classroom. Play in our themed discovery area, 'check out' a book from our outdoor library, or choose your own TRACK Trail adventure for self-discovery.
Sensory Explorer’s Trail: Explore our 0.3-mile nature trail, which features adaptations for the blind and visually impaired. The Sensory Explorers' Trail provides opportunities to explore billion-year-old geology, experience bird songs in the forest, learn about vernal pools, and more!
Fishing is Fun!: Learn how to cast a fishing rod in this hookless yard game. Use real rods to reel in targets and learn all about the freshwater fishes of the region.
Furs, Skulls, and Scales: Check out this interactive, hands-on table designed to teach your little one all about the animal inhabitants of Sky Meadows!
Craft Station: Get creative and make a unique piece of art that you can bring home!
