Is it Happy Birthday or Happy Anniversary? Either way, we're CELEBRATING 40 years of National Karate!! National Karate started as National Karate Institute under Marc Deschenes in March of 1986. Coach Drew enrolled at National Karate Institute in October of 1988. In 1997, Coach Drew moved to Spartanburg, SC to train and teach at Spartanburg Martial Arts, under Rick Lee and Nikki Lee. In 2012, Coach Drew moved back to Summerville, with business partner Coach Brian (Plempel), to take over and continue the legacy of National Karate as National Karate MMA. Currently, we have two locations servicing the lowcountry, National Karate MMA Summerville and National Karate MMA/West Ashley under the leadership of Coach Nate (Nathan Windsor). Through the years, we have met and established wonderful relationships with many wonderful friends we consider family! We would like to celebrate with you! 🫵 If you or a family member has ever trained at or with National Karate, we invite you to celebrate with us on April 25th at Lily Grace Farms Petting Zoo, Party Venue, and Party Bus Service! Party begins at 2pm and lasts until you can't handle any more fun or eat another morsel! This invite is extended to all who have blessed our mats, as a student, a guest from another school, and/or a family member of a student. ALL of you are a part of why we have lasted for so many years and we would LOVE to celebrate with you!
