Drama to explore stories, feelings, and well-being for teachers of SEND students in specialist settings across all key stages.
This one-day workshop will explore teaching through story using both sensory and emotional engagement for pupils with PMLD.
It will also explore the use of Drama with MLD/ASD/SEMH young people to promote positive mental health and wellbeing, develop confidence and trust, and foster good relationships with peers and adults.
There will be a range of activities throughout the day including workshops, Q and A, along with some theoretical underpinning. Teachers will be given a set of adaptable lesson plans to take away and use in school.
