National Astro Carnival, which aims to create interest in space technology and science among all Bangladeshi students and reveal the true potential of children and young students with a keen interest in science, technology, and astronomy is now reaping the fruits of its efforts of 5 years. School, college, and university students are attending the National Astro Carnival-2024. to boost their confidence as a group and become scientists, and astronauts, and can achieve their dreams.Event Date: 20 and 21 December 2024

A: Solo Segments:

For 3 Category (Junior, Secondary, Higher Secondary)
25 minutes will be given to the participants for every olympiad.
Using a calculator is prohibited.
It will be MCQ-based questions.
Participants have to bring necessary stationeries (pen, pencil, board, etc)
Questions will be in both Bangla and English.

For 2 Category (Secondary, Higher Secondary)

Category: Pre-Primary and Primary
Rules:
■ Participants must submit their craft on the first day of the event.
■ Participants cannot change or return their craft work after submitting it.
■ Craftwork can be any size.
■ Theme: Open.
■ Craftwork will be judged by its appearance, presentation, topic, etc.
■■■■■ PowerPoint Presentation
Category: Open for all
Rules:
■ Participants will be given 4 minutes to show their presentation.
■ Participants have to complete their presentation in 4 minutes on stage.
■ There is no specific subject but astronomy /space /science and technology is preferable.
■ Presentations can be in Bangla or English language.
■ There is no slide limit.

■■■■■ Extempore Speech
Category: Open For All
Rules:
■ This is an individual segment. Each participant will
be given three (03) minutes.
■ Speech Topic: An instant topic will be given based on Space/Astronomy/Science and Technology
■ The speech should be given in either Bengali or English. It is better not to mix
both languages in speech.
■ Judges will select the winner depending on the style of speech, presentation,
data, relevancy to the topic, etc.
B. Group Segments:

Category: Open for all
Rules:
■ Participants have to be in a team of 3 members.
■ Registration Fee:899 BDT
■ Participants have to bring their laptops and present their web designs full day at their station which will be given by the event authority.
■ Copied or stolen web design will be disqualified.
■ Authorities have the right to decline your website (by informing you) if we find
any political issues, nudity, violence, etc.
■ Judgment will be based on presentation, appearance, information, etc
■ Food Will be provided (First day only)
■ Participants must submit their designs on the first day of the event.
■■■■■ Project Display
Category: Junior, Secondary, and Higher Secondary
Rules:
■ Participants have to be in a team of 3 members.
■ Registration Fee:899 BDT
■ Members can be from different institutions.
■ There will be two categories(mechanical and non-mechanical).
■ Participants are encouraged to come 1 hour before the event starts.
■ We will provide electricity.
■ Participants have to bring their own electrical instruments(multi-plug,laptops, etc).
■ Judgment will be made based on the project’s beauty, explanation, and presentation.
■ Food Will be provided (First day only)

Category: Primary, Junior, Secondary, and Higher Secondary
Rules:
■ Participants have to be in a team of 3 members. Members can be from any institution.
■ Registration Fee: 899 BDT
■ Theme: Space/Science and Technology/Astronomy
■ The size of the magazine can be up to 8X8 feet maximum. The shape or
thickness does not matter.
■ Any type of materials can be used.
■ Judgment will be made by planning, beauty, and presentation.

■ Participants have to be in a team of 3 members.

Rules:
■ There will be 1:30 hour for the participants to complete their art.
■ Registration Fee: 199 BDT
■ Participants have to bring their own art materials (Color pencil, board, pencil, eraser, sharpener, etc).
■ Participants can art both sketch or colored art.
■ Theme: Space related

Category: Open for all
Rules:
■ Participants will be given 40 minutes to write any science or space-related story.
■ Registration Fee: 199 BDT
■ Stories can be in Bangla or English. Mixing both languages is prohibited.
■ Stories cannot cross 300 words.
■ Judgment will be based on story, data, proper use of grammar, etc.
■■■■■ Rubik's Cube Competition
Category: Open for all
Rules:
■ Participants have to bring their cubes.
■ Registration Fee: 199 BDT
■ Time will be given for inspection.
■ It will be round based on the amount of participants.
■ The final round will be on stage.
■ If someone’s cube gets broken they will be disqualified immediately

■Treasure will be hidden throughout the event venues.

Rules:
■ There will be 2 categories(Mobile Photography and DSLR Photography).
■ Registration Fee: 299 BDT
■ Photos have to be studio print.
■ Stolen or copied photos will be disqualified.
■ Black and White or edited photos are accepted.
■ Watermark photos are prohibited.
■ A participant can submit up to 3 photos.
■ Authorities have the right to decline your photo(by informing you) if they
find any nudity, violence, political issues, or other non-acceptable matters.
■ Theme: Open
■ Photos cannot be changed or turned back after submitting.
■ Must submit on 20 December 2024
■ Photo size: 6R (Fixed) for both DSLR and Mobile Photography
■ Photos will be selected first before being put on the display
■■■■■Art Exhibition
Category: Open for All
Rules:
■ Theme: Open
■ Registration Fee: 299 BDT
■ Digital artworks are not permitted.
■ Participants can submit both sketches and colored art.
■ Canvas/paper size: 8X8", 10X8", 12X8", 12X12", 20X12", 20X20"(In inch)
■ Participants are allowed to use any materials.
■ Participants must use their sign on their artwork.
■ Stolen or copied artwork will be disqualified.
■ Captions are mandatory in the artwork. It can be in English or Bangla. Captions have to be written on the backside of the artwork or a piece of paper
attached to the artwork along with the participant's Name and Institution. (Example: Caption, Name, Institution name).
■ Authorities have the right to decline your photo(by informing you) if they find any nudity, violence, political issues, or other non-acceptable matters.
■ There cannot be any changes after submitting the artwork.
■ Participant's artwork will be displayed on December 20 - 21 at the venue.
■ Submission date: 20 December,2024

The term site and event pages refers to Bangladesh Space Research Society and is related to it, owned by Bangladesh Space Research Society (BSRS). The following terms and conditions have been accepted by the user on usage of the pages and website. You are requested to read them carefully. BSRS reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time, including, its content or features.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:
After a successful Registration for the National Astro Carnival 2024 or any other services, a candidate cannot cancel his/her registration. No refund will be allowed under any circumstances. In case cancellation of the registration occurs then the registered candidate can transfer his/her candidateship to another person(In that case candidate must let the organizer know). BSRS will never refund the service charge under any circumstances. All disputes arising out of or in connection with this cancellation and refund policy shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction.

Online Registration - To register online, participants must fill up a Google or website form.

Other Rules:
1. Participants have to be in their school/college uniform at the event.
2. Participants must come 1 hour before the event time at the venue.
3. After registration there will be no refund or cannot change any segment.

Prizes:
1. There will be prizes for Crest for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively in every segment.
2. Winner Certificates will be provided too.
3. All the participants will get a participation certificate.
