Ride for Nathan & Right Beside Me
Sometimes the strongest people are the ones who carry the heaviest burdens.
Five years ago, Nathan tragically lost his life whilst riding the motorcycle he loved so much. A son, a brother, a friend and a young man whose warmth, kindness and infectious laugh left a mark on everyone lucky enough to know him.
Nathan loved many things in life – his bike, his beloved cat Arty, his sisters Megan and Maraya, Chinese food, and above all, the people around him. He had a way of making everyone feel important. His bear hugs, his laughter and his generous spirit are still remembered every single day.
In the years following Nathan’s loss, his mum has somehow found the strength to turn her heartbreak into something truly special.
She created Right Beside Me – a charity dedicated to supporting families who have lost loved ones far too soon. What began with sending thoughtful gifts to grieving families has grown into regular support meetings, creating a safe place for people who are navigating the unimaginable.
On this ride, we will be coming together to do two things:
Celebrate Nathan’s life and the passion he had for motorcycles.
Raise awareness of the incredible work being carried out through Right Beside Me, ensuring bereaved families know they do not have to face their grief alone.
