We’re excited to announce our Annual Teammate Golf Tournament, which will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Timberlake Country Club in Chapin. This year, we are proud to partner with Big Homie, Lil Homie, a nonprofit organization based in Columbia, SC. Their mission is to mentor at-risk boys in our community, ages 6–17, who come from single-parent homes and foster care environments.
Big Homie, Lil Homie was founded by a true “homegrown hero,” Dr. Jamal Stroud, who grew up in the foster care system and recognized firsthand the need for stronger community support and consistent mentorship. He embodies our own Mission Statement of growing the core, expanding beyond, and living our culture. The organization is powered by a volunteer team of 50 adult male mentors and operates as a 100% nonprofit—meaning every dollar raised goes directly back into supporting the youth they serve. Their mentorship focuses on instilling life skills ranging from fundamentals like tying a tie and delivering a proper handshake to larger milestones such as applying for jobs and completing college applications.
Currently, they serve more than 500 young men in our community and recently celebrated sending two students to Ivy League schools. We are excited about this partnership and hope that by giving these young men the opportunity to connect with some of you, they may develop an interest in the work we do—potentially creating another avenue for future employment and long-term success.
