Join Clevedon-based singer-songwriter and environmental campaigner Natalie Fée and friends for her debut album launch and an evening of folk music, poetry and stories inspired by Natalie’s year sitting under a local oak tree. Best known as the founder of City to Sea, Natalie spent a year sitting ‘under the oak’ - meditating, writing and listening to the land - and many of the songs written that year have made their way into ‘Daughter of Nature’, her album, which she’ll be launching as part of this event.
Weaving the wild into song, Natalie draws her inspiration from a deep, embodied connection to nature, blending the traditional warmth of folk with poetic lyrics, enchanting harmonies and healing invocations.
Singles from the album have already had plays on BBC Introducing, and have clocked up over 350,000 streams, so she thought it was time to do a gig, and is delighted to be playing with local violinist Clare Mactaggart and others TBC!
This is a free event, so no need to book. But please arrive on time if you want a seat - we’ll get going at 7.30pm.
