Nashville Cyber Incident Response Competition (Hyatt Nashville)

This is a fun event, with challenges and opportunities to earn points throughout.

We guide the event like a incident scenario exercise / tabletop as analysts will all see reported incident artifacts, analyze the findings, share a report with a timeline to uncover what happened, how to respond to the incident, how to recover, and how to reduce the incident from recurring.

All competitors will get time to review the incident findings, and can work with their team (or alone) to strategize how to respond. This is an engaging event that helps encourage communication, teamwork, and problem solving. Individuals can also register to compete alone but we encourage members of 2+ to attend. You are also allowed to bring your computer for the event in support of research. The event is at the Nashville Hyatt from May 14th from 5:30 - 7:30 PM

Single members or teams (up to 3 people, but each team may only submit 1 report together) and all are invited to come to compete. Max team size is 3 members, but competitors may register as individuals if they wish to compete (Individual members can be added to a free agent team or can compete on their own). Winners each receive a $50 Visa Gift Card, and a trophy to take home to their office for display.
