About this Event
This creative writing workshop is part of the 'Morning Sickness' and the Medical Humanities research project led by Sophie Jones, literary studies researcher and author of , and Sarah Bernstein, researcher and author of . The project is funded by the University of Strathclyde's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
No experience of creative writing is required. The workshop is free and open to the public but places are limited, so reservation is mandatory. Limited funds are available to support travel and accommodation to the workshop; please give details on the application form if you would like to apply for these funds.
Following the workshop, participants may have the opportunity to submit to a zine exploring pregnancy sickness.
The creative writing workshop will be preceded by an afternoon research seminar on pregnancy sickness and the medical humanities. This runs from 12:00-4:30pm on Monday June 8th.
