There is an important election coming up on February 3, 2026, in the City of Naples.In a nonpartisan election, eight candidates will vie for three seats on City Council. The issues that will be covered in the candidate forum on December 11th, are ones that will be faced by this next Council and they are entirely environmental: overdevelopment, water quality, flooding, resiliency.
With current and past councils, resources provided by council to businesses and residents have not been allocated fairly. We are working with Environmental Justice (EJ) communities to ensure this changes with the next council. Resiliency resources must be allocated according to principals of EJ. (more on that, below)
