This year, join the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) San Mateo County as we gather at Seal Point Park in San Mateo on Saturday, October 4th, for a celebration of community, connection, and mental health awareness. Walk at your own pace with a 1k or 5k route, connect with others, and simply come enjoy the day. Highlights include:
- Our first-ever Pet Power for Mental Health Contest
- Food, music, and a community resource fair
- Wellness activities and programming
- A kid’s zone with fun for the whole family
- Sponsor booths, guest speakers, handmade signs, team shirts, and even a few therapy dogs in NAMIWalks gear
Every step you take helps raise awareness, fight stigma, and fund NAMI’s free mental health programs and support services right here in San Mateo County.
There are many ways to be part of the movement:
- Create a team to recruit your friends, family, school, or workplace.
- Join an existing team and walk alongside a community united for mental health.
- Register as an individual, because one person can make a big impact too.
- Volunteer with us on Walk Day
Whether you’re walking for yourself, honoring a loved one, or supporting a future where no one walks alone, your presence makes a difference.
