NAMI Family Fun Day at Caponi Art Park
Looking for a fun and meaningful way to spend time with your family this summer? Join us for NAMI Minnesota's second Family Fun Day at Caponi Art Park on Saturday, June 13, from 10AM to 1PM, sponsored by Dakota County.Families can enjoy a variety of interactive workshops and creative activities designed to foster community engagement and align with NAMI Minnesota's ongoing work to strengthen mental health and community wellbeing. Experience the energy of drumming, the mindfulness of movement, and the relaxation of forest bathing. Engage in humor through the Mobile Comedy Suitcase, express creativity through Mandala Rocks, and take a moment to reflect at the Poetry Box. A mental health scavenger hunt will offer a fun and engaging way to learn more about well-being. This event will take place outdoors, so please plan accordingly. Light refreshments will be provided.

Getting to the Park:
- Caponi Art Park is located on 60-acres of rolling wooded land in Eagan, MN. Situated off of I-35E from Hwy exit 94 between Pilot Knob Rd and Lexington Ave, the Art Park is just a short drive from downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis and the Mall of America.

Parking Information:
- Primary parking is available on-site at Caponi Art Park, 1220 Diffley Road, Eagan, MN 55123
- Additional overflow parking is available at the Lexington/Diffley Sports Fields parking
Accessibility Information:
ADA accessible portable restrooms are located in the visitor parking lot at 1220 Diffley Road, in the Theater in the Woods and on the north side of the park.</li>Caponi Art Park strives to be accessible to people of all abilities. In keeping with the natural integrity and aesthetic of the land, trails vary in consistency and are surfaced with dirt/gravel or rough granite brick.</li></ul>
Other Event Information:Restroom Facilities: Portable restrooms will be provided on the North side of the park, and in the audience parking area. Please keep the areas tidy.</li>Tobacco-Free Environment: Caponi Art Park is a smoke-free property. Tobacco use is prohibited in all areas of the park, including the trails and performance areas.</li></ul>
NAMI Family Fun Day at Caponi Art Park is free and open to all, sponsored by Dakota County.

If you or your family members do not want to be photographed or published, please express this to a staff member or photographer on site.
NAMI Minnesota Cancellation Policy
NAMI Minnesota thank you for registering to attend one of our classes. We understand that unforeseen situations arise and you may need to cancel your registration. If you are unable to attend, a substitute individual is welcome to attend in your place, but NAMI Minnesota must be notified in writing (e-mail is acceptable) with the name and contact information of the person who will be attending. NAMI Minnesota reserves the right to cancel any event, conference, or class due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If there is a cancellation, participants will be notified by telephone and/or email as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule.
