NAMI Basics is a FREE, six-session education program for parents, caregivers, and other family members of youth (age 22 or younger) experiencing mental health symptoms. Taught by trained facilitators who have firsthand experience, this course provides essential information and a supportive community, whether you attend in person or online.This is a HYBRID course (offered in-person and online)

?How to identify and respond to mental health symptoms in youth.
Evidence-based treatment options.
?How the brain is affected.
?Navigating mental health services, schools, and juvenile justice systems.
?Building communication and problem-solving skills.
?Self-care strategies for caregivers.
?How to find hope and connection through shared experiences.
?Each session builds on the last, offering tools, understanding, and encouragement in a confidential, judgment-free space.
