About Us: NAMI Alameda County is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization of families, friends, and individuals who work to improve the lives of those affected by mental health conditions. Our services include:
- Family Warmline / Helpline
- Free Support Groups
- Free 8-week Mental Health Awareness Classes
- Free Youth Suicide Prevention Education
"Fun Day at the Park" is a free, family-friendly community event that promotes mental wellness.
The day begins with an accessible 1-mile Fundraising Walk. All ages and abilities are welcome!
You’re welcome to fundraise, but it’s not required to join the walk. If you choose to raise donations, you’ll receive branded thank-you gifts!
Following the walk is a kite flying contest (bring your own kite or make one with us–we provide free DIY kite kits), raffle, food, and live music.
You can also meet other Alameda County mental health community organizations at their booths.
