We invite you and your students to join us at the museum during NAIDOC Week 2024 for a community-led program designed to enrich your student’s learning, appreciation and perspective of First Nations history and culture through hands-on activities and meaningful dialogue.
Tuesday 9 July - Wednesday 10 July - Wulgurukaba Walkabouts and Big Eye Theatre
Your students will experience cultural storytelling through dance, traditional painting, artefact handling, and didgeridoo or weaving.
This half-day or full-day program is aimed at students in grade four and above.
Thursday 11 July - Gudjuda Reference Group
Your students will get the chance to meet and learn from Gudjuda Ranger Trainees about land and sea country and what it means to them, undertake some traditional Indigenous Games and engage in art reflection activities.
This half-day program is aimed at students in grade four or above and is available for either a morning or afternoon session
Sessions available from $7.50 per student.
