NADAS SUMMER CAMP 2026

For more than three decades, The Nadas have been turning ordinary weekends into unforgettable ones. Their signature blend of twangy, Stones-era country honk, raw alt-rock energy, and heartfelt Americana storytelling has earned them a fiercely loyal following—and the kind of live shows that feel more like a reunion than a concert.

Formed in the early ’90s by Iowa State University students Mike Butterworth and Jason Walsmith, The Nadas have spent 30+ years evolving their sound while keeping their heart firmly rooted in connection, humor, and real life. Along the way they’ve shared stages with the Beach Boys, Bon Jovi, Big Head Todd and Barenaked Ladies, sold over 300,000 albums, earned praise from everywhere from major publications to Playboy, and even had the honor of writing the theme song for their hometown—twice.

Today the band—rounded out by Brian Duffey, Brandon Stone, and Perry Ross—brings a lively, anything-goes spirit to the stage, blending folk, rock, and Americana into something that feels both nostalgic and brand new. Their upcoming album Come Along for the Ride captures that same spirit: songs about road trips, second chances, small victories, and the everyday moments that make life worth singing about.

And this year, the tradition gets even bigger.

Summer Camp with The Nadas has quietly become one of those “if you know, you know” weekends—where longtime fans, new faces, and music lovers from all over come together for a few days of great songs, late-night laughs, and the kind of friendships that only happen when the music is just right.
