The Wilmington Chapter of the National Association for Black Veterans is excited to host its second annual Veterans’ Recognition Dinner Dance Gala on Saturday, May 16th at the American Legion Post 10 hall. Doors will open at 5pm.Funds from the gala will help the NABVETS continue its annual scholarship program, its Feed the Homeless and the Hungry Program, and its Veterans Supporter Small Business/Nonprofit Assistance program. The Wilmington NABVETS are active with the New Hanover County Veterans Council and NABVETS, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization.
