The evening features authentic dialogue with other professional men, expert presentations, and in-depth panel discussions led by two accomplished Black male leaders in law and legal enforcement who bring decades of combined experience serving, educating, and empowering the community.

Paul A. Ellis, Jr., Pennsylvania-Licensed Attorney & Founding Executive Director of August Wilson House

Paul Ellis is a celebrated community leader and advocate, former University of Pittsburgh adjunct professor, and the visionary founder behind one of Pittsburgh’s most important cultural institutions, the August Wilson House. He has received numerous high-profile civic honors, including an official proclamation naming August 13, 2022 as “Paul Ellis Day” in Pittsburgh, and was further recognized as Preservationist of the Year (2022). Paul brings a wealth of legal knowledge, lived experience, and community-rooted wisdom to empower men to understand and protect their rights.
