The seminar series is dedicated to the relationship between screen and frame in contemporary artistic practices and image theory. Through dialogue between artists and lecturers, the conferences address the transformations of the moving image and its dispositifs, from video art to virtual and augmented reality. The interplay between artistic practice and theoretical reflection allows for an interrogation of the screen's role as a space of experience, mediation, and the construction of the gaze. The series thus explores new forms of visibility, embodiment, and the relationship between images, technologies, and social context.
