From the very start, Nära has been about supporting people to grow more of who they already are. To meet yourself and others at greater depth. And to bring that into your life and into the world.
This summer we're celebrating our 5th anniversary by bringing together everything that made our Nära Festivals special. We've cherry-picked the best from previous years: quality workshops led by experienced facilitators, co-created celebration that emerges from what we all bring, and more space for landing in connection together. Plus a heartful integration space on the final day.
THE PRACTICES
Our core practices remain the foundation:
Embodiment — Embracing our body as the core of who we are. Through dance, somatic and movement practices and relational bodily exercises.
Authentic Relating — creative and heartful ways of exploring communication and connection beyond social masks and norms.
Relational Presencing — an organic practice about bringing yourself more in connection with others, focused on self leadership, deep listening and openness to impact on others and the relational field.
THE FIVE-DAY JOURNEY
Wednesday: Arrival & Opening Ceremony
Thursday-Friday: Workshop days — 20+ sessions to go deep. Relational presence, embodiment practices, sound journeys and deep dance.
Saturday: Co-Created Celebration Day — a full day and evening shaped by all of us. A space for you to nourish your connections and spend more time with people you've met.
Sunday: Integration & Harvest — returning to a facilitated space for landing, grounding and integrating before saying our goodbyes.
A SPACE OF POSSIBILITIES
In breaks and evenings there is space to just hang out, dance, sing and make music. Or why not a playfight on the lawn followed by a sauna?

The festival is alcohol and substance free — creating a container where everyone can feel safe to go deep.
We begin with check-in from noon and opening ceremony at 4 PM on 5 Aug, and end at 4 PM on 9 Aug.
YOUR HOSTS
Are Fredrik Gynnhammar and Michaela Nielsen. They've both been organising large scale relational festivals and hosted a lot of workshops in this field since 2016, back when Michaela was organising Authentic Relating Festivals in Denmark. Since then, both have been deepening into relational and embodiment practices on either side of the Öresund — and this year, they're bringing the Danish and Swedish communities closer together.
TEAM & FACILITATORS
- Benjamin Raki — Psychiatrist and facilitator of relational mindfulness, embodiment and emotional intelligence practices
- Elin Gabriella — Theatre pedagogue influenced by clown work, psychodrama and forum play
- Daniel Kaplan — Biologist and sex-educator exploring liminal spaces of relationality
- Ida Helmers — Somatic guide, group field weaver and relational enthusiast
- Sujan Varma — Multidisciplinary creative and facilitator of sensuality, consent and community connection
More facilitators will be announced as the team grows.
