Música Hispana
Come join us for a vibrant evening of Hispanic chamber music at St. Anthony of Padua behind Buffalo City Hall. Get ready to immerse yourself in lucious melodies and rhythms on October 19, 2025 at 3:00 PM. Let's celebrate the beauty of music together!
Our program begins with Buffalo guitarist Ricardo Saeb as soloist in Isaac Albéniz’ rousing Asturias. Next, soprano Colleen Marcello sings selections from Manuel de Falla’s Canciones Populares Españolas, followed by the Camerata’s WNY premiere performance of the Fuga con Pajarillo by Aldemaro Romero.
After intermission, we present Astor Piazzolla’s Tanguedia III, followed by the WNY premieres of Osvaldo Golijov’s passionate How Slow the Wind, and Herencia for Strings by Andrea Casarrubios.
