During this free, in-person event, local historian June Chipp introduces us to her newest book “Myths, Legends & Ghost Stories of the Niagara Frontier". This book tells the fabled stories that have been passed down for decades, and obscure tales that you've probably never heard of. The ghost stories cover the legends of the old Military Fort Erie, which have never been published before, as well as the famous Bertie Hall, and other intriguing places. Here are the stories that fascinate and mystify – from the Old Fort to a bank building in old Bridgeburg, to a haunted chocolate shop and a witch's tower in Ridgeway.
