Neuroscience has increasingly become a sexy word in business and education. Unfortunately oversimplification of findings from research on the brain has led to the development of neuromyths.
Neuromyths can lead us to counterproductive strategies as coaches, leaders and educators.
There is often a grain of truth to some of these myths and having an understanding as to how they developed can help us to debunk the most common ones.
During this interactive session we explore:

About the speaker
Marina is the Founder and Director of MDMC Ltd.
She partners with organisations to create productive, profitable and engaged working environments. Through using a unique blend of neuroscience, consulting, facilitation and coaching she works with senior leaders and their teams , challenging and inspiring them to enhance their business performance and leadership.
Marina has a particular interest in the practical application of research from Neuroscience which she applies to her Coaching/Consulting Practice and in creating brain friendly leadership programmes.
Clients say Marina has an encouraging, empathetic and challenging approach, balanced with humour whilst retaining focus on results and outcomes. They appreciate her ability to support them to unwrap the complexities of organisational leadership and identify solutions which are applied to the strategic aims of their organisation. With over 20 years’ consulting and coaching experience across a wide range of sectors, she previously had a successful career in industry including her role as HR Director of Microsoft UK.
A former Executive Director of European industry body EMCC, the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, Marina’s leadership roles over 15 years included Chair of European Standards and co-founder of the Global Coaching Quality Award (EQA) raising standards for coach training. She was one of the first 15 coaches to achieve EMCC Global Individual Coach Accreditation as Master Practitioner.
