About this Event
From all over the Earth we all had one thing in common: stories, tales, lessons passed down.
Join us for a day of hearing the Myths, Legends & Folklore which helped shape society from guest speakers, a locally handcrafted on-theme market......as well as a mythic costume contest*!
Our guest speakers will share tales of enchantment,wonder & dread. The breakdown of classic legends & how they helped shape human behaviour.
The Mythic Costume contest will feature costumes specifically inspired by Myths, Legends & Folklore. (No anime or comicbook ** characters)
- Ye must walk in the style/attitude of how you think your character would walk
- Thy shall answer questions 3 in character
- Show us a random talent you think your charachter may have had. Be as ridiculous as you like *****
Yes there will be a prize along with the Glory of having the title of Mythic Legend!

There will also be new handcrafted photo setups to capture all the fun on film(or memory card).
*Costume contest is free to enter with main entry ticket
** There will be some cross overs such as Thor etc. However, please style costume according to historical ridiculously fun Asgard costuming rather than the comic book adaptation ****
**** Yes yes I know the comic book adaptation was pretty close, just humour me .
***** Just no fire,water, strobe lights, throwing of random foods, sharp objects etc for general safety.
