About this Event
Take part in a transformative series of panel events where students in the Tufts Education and Reentry Network program (MyTERN) and traditional Tufts students will discuss: the power of learning together, the obstacles to life after Pr*son, storytelling as a healing art, and the ties between education, employment, and world changing. Special guests will include: Tufts’ Ladies of Essence (a cappella), and Stonecatcher (aka Kentel Weaver of Roxbury and TUPIT).
Panel topics will include:
- Connecting communities: Medford and MyTERN students
- From civic studies to civic interventions
- Invisible barriers to reentry
- Storytelling as a healing art
Don't miss this opportunity to engage with voices at the forefront of educational justice, and to learn about the power of education to address systemic inequities while creating pathways for individual and collective growth.
